Mrs. Neeru Sharma, president and Mr. Paras Sharma, Secretary, Ladli creations Sansthan, Jaipur visited Village Dahar and Village Shaligrampura of Tehsil Chaksu, District Jaipur. They did a survey of the place and met some prominent people, Anganbari workers, women folk and young girls of the two villages. All the poor women and girls present in the meeting were made aware of their rights, about necessity & importance of forming Self Help Groups (SHGs), making small and regular savings which can help them in fulfilling their needs. The women and girls were also told that Ladli Creations Sansthan shall conduct regular workshops for Stitching, Crochet knitting, and for making of various other craft items which would help them to become artisans and to produce finished goods. They would then be generating income by selling those products in the market with the support of Ladli Creations Sansthan. The income so generated would make them socially and financially strong, independent and self-confident to overcome future problems in their lives. The first interaction with the women folk of the two villages was for about 3-4 hours and was very purposeful. In the last the president and the secretary of Ladli Creations Sansthan congratulated every one who helped them make their first meeting very successful. It was decided that the next meeting shall take place at the same place on 20.04.2014.

Mrs. Neeru Sharma, president and Mr. Paras Sharma, Secretary, Ladli creations Sansthan, Jaipur visited Village Dahar and Village Shaligrampura of Tehsil Chaksu, District Jaipur. As discussed in the last meeting three Self Help Groups of 10-12 women and girls were formed. Each member of a group deposited Rs. 100/- each as their savings for the month and promised to deposit the small amount of Rs. 100/- each month thereafter as their savings. Each member was made to submit their complete information about their Name, Fatherӳ / Husbandӳ Name, age, sex, address etc. All the data was recorded in a register. A separate register was made for recording proceedings of each meeting and activities done in workshops. Separate batches were formed according to the choice of the members for Stitching, Crochet knighting, Dori Bag making, Beads work and of other craft-work. A brief demonstration of some craft items, stitching and crochet knighting was also given.

A detailed demonstration for Stitching by Mrs. Nisha Khandelwal, a Stitching Teacher, Crochet knighting by Mrs. Neeru Sharma and Making of Dori Bags & other craft items by Mrs. Neela Sharma, a Craft Teacher was provided to the different groups. The women were provided with the raw materials for learning and practicing for making different items at home. A record of the quantity of raw materials distributed to each individual and items made by each member of the groups was maintained in the register.

A detailed demonstration for Stitching by Mrs. Nisha Khandelwal, a Stitching Teacher, Crochet knighting by Mrs. Neeru Sharma and Making of Dori Bags & other craft items by Mrs. Neela Sharma, a Craft Teacher was provided to the different groups. Some more quantity of raw material for learning and practicing for making different items at home were provided to the ladies. A record of the raw materials distributed to each individual and items made by each member of the groups was maintained in the register. After the workshop activity, we had a long discussion about the social problems and other difficulties being faced by each member. Most of the problems were related to education, health, sanitation and other house hold activities. We then explained them in detail about means and ways to overcome those social and daily routine life problems to make their life and social status better.
